Danish dance producers, Svenstrup & Vendelboe (handsome pair of gents, aren’t they?!), are currently riding high in the Danish iTunes chart with a tune that’s making our speakers exude a very pleasant sound right now. It’s called ‘Dybt Vand’ and is a superb exercise in euphoric vocal trance. The vocalist in question is Nadia Malm (another quite attractive specimen, herself), and she provides a soft, high, trill. In our ears at least though, she plays second fiddle to an excellent piano riff that plays throughout, which is just divine. ODDLY, we find ourselves enjoying the verses more than the chorus in this track. That’s not to say the chorus isn’t good, it most certainly is, it’s just that the verses offer a lot more of that euphoria that we mentioned above. All in all though, it’s a fab track. Lush!
You might recognize the names Svenstrup & Vendelboe, as they’ve been making quite the name for themselves as remixers of late. And they’ve recently remixed scandipop favourites such as Robyn, Medina, and erm, Brinck!
‘Dybt Vand’ isn’t on youtube or soundcloud yet (which is utterly ridiculous if you ask us, since it’s already out and charting in Denmark), but is streaming in full, at this website here
