The brilliant Susanne Sundfør has returned this week with news of a new album (out in early 2015) and a new single (available to listen to RIGHT NOW).
The Kleerup, Röyksopp, amd M83 collaborator (and you can listen to all three of those utter gems right here) deserves to score just as much love as she did with those very collaborations, all in her own right with this one. It’s called ‘Fade Away’ and it’s amazing. At one end of the spectrum it’s the ten-out-of-ten type of female fronted Scandi electronica that you always get over excited about when you first hear it, and then at the other end – it’s 80s US radio pop! In its melody at least. That chorus is something else. Sounding somewhere between Fleetwood Mac and The Bangles.
Brilliant stuff.
