The Stockholm Syndrome girls today premiere the video for their current single ‘Karma’.
Here’s what we wrote about the song itself initially.
As pop music goes, these girls do pretty much everything right. And videos are one of those things. ‘Karma’ doesn’t disappoint, and showcases some of the many facets that we love about these ladies. The best bits in the video are too plentiful to go through (as are those aforementioned many facets). But if we had to pick one, we’d point out the scene in which they hair swish while hopping from foot to foot. Holy Christ.
This video is the last time you’ll see the girls as a trio, as Melanie has now left the band. But the remaining two will be soldiering on as duo mercifully, and continuing the Stockholm Syndrome name. And we’re very pleased about that, because Stockholm Syndrome are one of our very favourite things in music. Perhaps even in life.
