Swedish artist Wiktoria went and released her third single last month. It’s the incredible ‘Unthink You’. A slightly country flavoured ballad on which she gets to showcase her vocals even better than ever. That middle eight and final chorus has to be heard to be believed. And she’s sounding more and more like an unbeatable pop force for this year’s Melodifestivalen (more on her participation with ‘As I Lay Me Down’ here). And if she’s releasing a song this amazing outside of the contest, just imagine what she’s held back for it! ‘Unthink You’ was written by Wiktoria herself, along with Simon Johansson, Jens Siverstedt, and Sharon Vaughn. Tomorrow she releases the video for ‘Unthink You’. Though as a thank you to Scandipop readers for voting her a double Scandipop Award winner (Best New Artist and Best Debut Single – full winner’s list here), she’s allowing you all to see it before everyone else. The video was directed by Michael Sjösten, and features a star turn from up-and-coming Swedish dancer and choreographer Christoffer Collins.
