What’s this? Brand-new music from Norwegian artist Ulrikke – her latest single ‘Falling Apart’.
And on MGP final week?! It’s been timed perfectly. On Saturday night’s final, she will open the show with last year’s winner ‘Attention’, and then she will perform this new single as the interval act. NRK might not have given her the direct ticket to Eurovision 2021, but they’ve given her everything else!
What’s the song like? The polar opposite to ‘Attention’. In that a) it’s a euphoric dance banger, and b) its lyrics allude to a love interest who can mend her, as opposed to one who ain’t giving her no attention.
What does Ulrikke say? “‘Falling Apart’ is made for the Eurovision stage. I can’t wait to perform it live, and show you guys what we have been working on. Hopefully people will be at home dancing on their couch. Oh, and there might also be a couple of fun surprises in both of my numbers on Saturday, so get ready!”
Written by? Ulrikke herself, along with Alex Charles, Helge Moen and Jim Bergsted.
