The new single? After a pretty ph’nom comeback earlier in the summer with ‘Circles’, Norway’s Truls has just released the follow-up – new single and video ‘Canyon’.
What’s it like? Starting off as uncharacteristic folk ballad (SO not Truls’ style), the song soon morphs into a bombastic synth banger with a sublimely catchy chorus that showcases the man’s trademark falsettos and harmonies. Truls knows his way around a pop chorus. Every time.
More from Truls? He’s been in LA working with the production trio Captain Cuts (Tove Lo, Marina & The Diamonds, Tegan & Sara). So we’re expecting more choice cuts from him sharpish. And DO check out that link above to previous single ‘Circles’ – one of our favourite songs of the year so far.
