What’s this? New music from Sweden’s Tove Styrke – she’s out with her latest single ‘Hardcore’.
What’s it like? Veering between lo-fi and distortion, and with Tove really – like, REALLY – going for it on the vocals in parts, makes this an unmissable listen. It’s a strange song. But it’s a strong song!
What does Tove say? “‘Hardcore’ is one of the sickest songs on the album. It’s about sex. I wanted to make the whole track sound swaying like when you’re completely gone in another person. That’s why we made the beat slow down and speed up again. I have to say that Elvira did an incredible job with this whole sound, the production is crazy.”
