A new single? After the brilliant ‘Kayak‘ and ‘Painting Pictures‘, Swedish singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist TOFFE is back with a new one. ‘Riverside’.
What does he say about it? “Riverside is a song about taking responsibility for our actions, not looking to place blame elsewhere. Just as we find ourselves over encumbered with a tainted conscience we see our river of choice, shining in the afternoon sun as it is about to set, promising to wash away all our wrong doings, waking us the next morning clean and refreshed only to repeat the cycle.”
What does Scandipop say? Further proof that TOFFE is one of the most exciting artists to come out of Sweden of late. ‘Riverside’ maintains his now signature sound and style of the most epic sort of synthpop. Supremely well-crafted stuff.
