It’s been a while! It’s been just shy of nine years since they released any new music.
And they’re back? With suitable BANG, too. Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso return as Swedish House Mafia and today release their new single and video ‘It Gets Better’.
What’s it like? It sounds like retro Americana sampled, fried and electrified into an industrial torch-song deployed in post-apocalyptic moments of brief hope. And that’s a pretty damn special sound, all things considered.
More from Swedish House Mafia? No word yet on anything else, but we’d be very surprised if we didn’t hear news of a tour and more new music very soon…
