What’s this? You’ll remember them from bringing a pop of colour (specifically, yellow) to this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, representing Norway with their song ‘Give That Wolf A Banana’. And now the galactic duo Subwoolfer are back with the follow-up single. And here’s where it gets *really* silly: ‘Melocoton (The Donka Donk Song)’.
What does Melocoton mean? It is the Spanish word for ‘peach’.
Oh hang one – is this going where it seems to be going? You would be correct in coming to that assumption, yes.
So what’s the song like? You can probably guess quite accurately, given that it has ‘The Donka Donk Song’ in its title.
There’s that. But in fairness to the adorable duo, they’ve gone and delivered *the* catchiest of trash bops. Annoyingly catchy, yes. But impressively catchy nonetheless. In their short time on Earth, they’ve quickly realised preciesly what us humans want from a pair like them – and they’re giving it to us in bucketfuls on this song.
