What’s this? American producer and DJ Steve Aoki recruits one of Scandinavia’s most prominent singer and songwriters Ina Wroldsen, to co-write and vocal a brand new single. ‘Lie To Me’, out today.
What’s it like? A bit genius in that it takes the despairing lyric and complements it with a crashing, industrial, bass-heavy production that accentuates the bleakness of it all. Yet somehow in the form of a delightfully palatable and hugely enjoyable listen of a song. Excellent stuff.
