What’s this? At the end of last year, Swedish duo Smith & Thell released their latest EP, ‘Telephone Wires’. And there’s one song on it that we’ve been coming back to a lot. It’s ‘Santa Barbara’ – perhaps one of the best songs they’ve ever done. Smith & Thell normally excel at the up-tempo rousers, but this is an exceptionally gorgeous slice of downbeat melancholy. And we think you should all check it out, if you’ve not yet heard it.
