What’s this? Norwegian artist SKAAR is back with the first of what she promises to be plenty of new releases through 2022 – her brand-new single ‘Get Him Away From Me’.
What’s it like? That song title is a phrase most of us has uttered at some point or another in our lives, but SKAAR sings it with a sense of urgency that captivates the listener and lets us know right away that there’s a story to tell here. Said story is accompanied by a suitably dramatic production, too.
What does she say? “It’s a song I wrote to encourage myself to trust my emotions and take myself seriously. It is about something I experienced a little while back. It was really difficult and it’s something I’m still trying to process. I just wrote exactly what I was thinking and feeling without putting anything through a filter. Doing that started a process in me which helped me a lot! I also hope to encourage people to trust themselves more with this song.”
