What’s this? Following on from the gorgeous ‘Running Wild‘, which turned out to be an early-summer staple for us, Swedish artist SINNAH returns with brand-new single ‘Fake’.
What’s it like? A bubbly and brassy pop number that pokes fun at a ridiculous boy in the best way possible – via an endearingly catchy pop melody.
What does SINNAH say? “‘Fake’ is about a guy who is starting to immediately date a new girl after a break up. The way he is acting is the total opposite to the way he did in the previous relationship. People who know him are starting to question this behavior, finding it weird and fake. In the end, it’s just a way for him to get over his ex. I wrote ‘Fake’ when I was in the beginning of a new relationship. I was really happy and grossly in love, so I wrote one good happy song and the rest turned out to be very cliche. Then I found that I had to start to write angry and interesting songs again and that’s when I dived into my friends’ love-life, and ‘Fake’ took place.”
Written by? SINNAH and Oliver Frid.
More from SINNAH? She’s also released a remix package for ‘Running Wild’, which you can check out right here.
