What’s this? Two of Iceland’s hottest talents in recent years have teamed up to release a new single together. The first of three songs they’ll be collaborating on this year. The singer Birgir and the producer duo September today release ‘Already Better’.
What’s it like? An epic love song that builds so feverishly, it ends up erupting into something that’s halfway between a gospel choir performance at church and an ’80s rock concert. If this song was to represent a stage of a relationship, it would be the point where all subtlety is abandoned and grand romantic gestures are welcomed. Which is totally the best bit.
