To mark 20 years since the start of her career, Petra Marklund is revisiting some of her old hits as September and re-imagining them. She’ll be releasing one per week for the next few weeks, and the first one up is her biggest – ‘Cry For You’. She’s calling them ‘acoustic’ versions. But since every pop fan runs a mile in the other direction when they hear the word ‘acoustic’ attached to a song, we’ll just call them Petra’s Versions. Because they deserve to be listened to. This new version is an orchestral revision, featuring new vocals from Petra – an absolute beauty of a tune that only serves to further highlight just what an incredible composition this song has always been.
