One of Norway’s finest. And she’s BACK with a brand new single ‘Beginning At The End’, which this evening had its premiere on Swedish radio station P3. You can listen via their link to the song below.
What’s it like? Not like we were expecting. Whereas she’s always gone for a more ‘out there’ synth sound before, ‘Beginning At The End’ is pure pop! We actually had to double check around the internet to make sure that P3 hadn’t got their shit wrong. But no – this is actually Samsaya singing a Samsaya song.
What’s so pure pop about it? A great big sing-a-long melody, for a start. And a funky production that grabs from the first verse and maintains the pace throughout. Has shades early of 90s r&b too. It’s crazy. It’s sexy. It’s cool.
