Finnish artist Saara has followed up ‘Ur Cool’ and ‘I Do’ with the release of her debut EP which came out earlier in the summer. Unfortunately, it features neither of the two aforementioned songs, and is instead restricted to a mere three tracks. But we’re not gonna complain because all three songs are fantastic tunes. And all very different to each other. Hazy and dreamy synthpop (California), nineties bubblegum pop SLASH futuristic discofunk (The Urge), and slow-jam R&B (Honey). Have a listen below, and also check out the new version of ‘Honey’ that she’s just released, featuring Rich The Kid. Plus, she’s released music videos for both ‘California’ and ‘The Urge’, if you like your pop music with some visuals.
You can find the particularly brilliant ‘California’ on our Best New Synthpop playlist.
