What’s this? Saara Aalto today kicks off her next chapter with some new music. It’s seemingly a ‘winter’ era, with a tour of her native Finland, a new EP released internationally, and this, her new single ‘Starry Skies’.
What’s it like? A change in direction from Saara, she drops the tempo along with the temperatures, and delivers a delicate guitar ballad to cosy up to.
What does Saara say? “I feel like it’s one of the best songs I’ve ever written. So personal. About your first love. When it’s too cold to stay outside but you’re still there waiting for your first kiss.”
Written by? Saara herself, along with David Sneddon. Produced by Pete Hammerton.
More from Saara? She’ll be releasing her full ‘Fairytale’ EP shortly.
