That name’s been on this site before. The Sweden’s Got Talent graduate released her debut single earlier this summer – ‘Ghost Flower‘.
And now it’s time for the new single? You don’t even understand. THIS song has just crash landed into 2014 as a very late contender for song-of-the-year. Released last week, it’s not only the song of Skellefteå Snow Pride (amazing), but also the official song for the World AIDS Day gala in Skellefteå (amazing). And the song itself is even more amazing than those two things combined.
What’s so amazing about it? It sounds like Le Kid performing their own version of Martin Solveig’s ‘Hello’. From start to finish (although particularly in its chorus obvs) ‘We Got The Night’ is balls to the wall enormous. One of the best things we’ve heard in ages. Pure POP.
Wow. And Le Kid, eh? Indeed – THAT good. Possibly because the song itself was written by two of Le Kid, Felix Persson and Märta Grauers, along with Malin Johansson.
