The new single? Released tomorrow, it had its premiere on P3 Radio in Sweden this morning. The new one from Rebecca & Fiona – ‘Sayonara’.
What’s it like? Proper brill. One of their best yet, in that they’ve gone down the very scandipop.co.uk route of leaving behind the EDM and embracing the very popstar quality that they’ve always exuded. ‘Sayonara’ opens with “fuck the world, I don’t care anymore”, before turning into a detached schoolgirl chant of a chorus. It’s basically Icona Pop meets Banned of St Trinians.
That artwork is quite something isn’t it? And do you know what the best part is? The music actually matches that artwork. Queens.
