What’s this? The brand-new single from Swedish artist Paul Rey – this is ‘Hurt’.
What’s it like? A catchy pop song with an engaging lyric that’s elevated even further by a rousing gospel influence.
What does Paul say? “The song is about the emotional chances you take with investing in a relationship. If things go well, then you will experience the strongest that is: love. If things go bad, then you can have your heart broken. So the song and the chorus play on the classic phrase ‘Love Hurts’, and concludes: ‘if love hurts, then hurt me good’.”
Written by? Paul himself, along with Kawar Yousef and Linnea Sodahl.
More from Paul? Back in summer, he released ‘Good For Me‘.
