What’s this? After a strong first couple of singles, Robin Stjernberg and Benjamin Roustaing are now back with their third. ohFrank – ‘Venice’.
What’s it like? Staying true to the winning formula of their first two songs, ‘Venice’ is another insight into the chaps’ philosophical ramblings, paired up nicely with an infectiously merry melody.
What do they say? Benjamin: “Robin and I arrived at the studio after reading about the fires raging across the world, the humanitarian crisis in Yemen; the list goes on. And we came to realise that whilst we could clearly see these awful things happening, at a click of a button we could then literally just scroll down and look at a video of a cat dressed as superman instead; since you know cats make you feel great and all that jazz. This realisation inspired us to write this song. There are so many heart wrenching things happening around the world; and our ability to simply scroll pass these issues is part of the problem. We want people, including ourselves, to really take stock of what’s happening and that can hopefully be the catalyst for change.”
Written by? The boys themselves!
