What’s this? The new single and video from Swedish artist Nova Miller – she’s back with ‘Done’!
What’s it like? A happy-go-lucky pop tune about the simple joy to be found in finally letting go of all of those things that are causing you any kind of unhappiness. The matter-of-fact lyric is accompanied by a playful retro tone, with the two complementing each other nicely.
What does Nova say? “I wrote this a year into the pandemic feeling like the things that bring me down are so unnecessary in the big picture. I think this song made me face some hard truths, like my problems with food. “I’m done with the diets and taking my vitamins.” It’s really freeing for me to be open and put my struggles in a song and hopefully help others address things they are ready to let go of as well.”
