What’s this? The Swedish vocalist that’s currently number 1 on the UK radio airplay chart with *that* cover of ‘Dancing In The Moonlight’, is out with some excellent pop music of her own. NEIMY – ‘Like Tyson’.
What’s it like? We so desparately don’t want to go to the obvious place of calling a song that’s titled ‘Like Tyson’ an absolute knockout, but this tune makes it so difficult. It really does pack such a punch. D’oh!
What does NEIMY say? “I know we all fight it at some point or stand beside someone or have even lost people around us to the battle of mental illness. The world is bleeding in so many ways right now and we need to be there for each other and TALK about this so it’s as acceptable and understandable as physical pain. It’s a failure that it’s still not and that some people suffer in silence. Hope you feel this song!”
