What’s this? Brand-new music from Sweden’s Myra Granberg. She’s out with ‘Du Förtjänar Det’.
What does that mean? You Deserve It.
What’s it like? Well considering the subject matter of the lyrics (pouring scorn on those who pretend to be the good guys but are anything but), it’s actually quite a joy-laden bop! Synthpop with a big spring in its step.
What does Myra say? “When the person you least suspected a betrayal from suddenly makes the ultimate betrayal. The person who was supposed to be ‘the good guy’ turns out to be the worst. What do you do then with all your angry feelings? Not completely unpredictable, there was only one thing for me to do – write a hate song about all the misfortune and bad luck I wish this person.”
