SONG: Mollie Minott – ‘False Alarm’

  • Reading time:2 mins read
  • Post category:New Releases

What’s this? The latest single and video from Swedish talent Mollie Minott – ‘False Alarm’.
What’s it like? An uplifting, up-tempo pop song with a charming retro sheen on the production, and some nicely interpreted influences from Motown-era soul.
What does Mollie say? The song “is about being in a relationship where you feel locked in. It’s about getting into the same bad habits instead of breaking free. You choose to stay because you are afraid of change and because you are at least sure of what you have, even if it is not good for you. This is a reminder that I deserve the best in life and deserve to experience new things. People who give bad energy or prevent me from it, must not be in my life anymore.
Written by? Mollie herself, along with Pontus Frisk, who also produced it.
