What’s this? This is a brand-new single from Danish pop queen Medina. She’s back and she’s returned to singing in her native Danish. ‘Lige Bange’ is released today.
What’s it like? It’s a big ol’ ’80s ballad with oversized drum beats and a torch-song chorus to sing-along to. Or at least try to, if you’re Danish ain’t all that strong.
What does Medina say? “The hardest song to write, the hardest feelings to share. Telling others that you can be just as scared as they are is something we share too little with each other. This song has taken me most of my life to put into words. It has taken many years before I was ready to share, but I can feel that the time to share this with you is now. It’s okay to be scared, and it’s okay not to always be the strongest. My dear sister; you make me a better person and I love you every single day“.
