Swedish artist Mavrick returned with a brand new single over the weekend. Following on from ‘Remedy‘ and ‘Funeral‘, he’s back with ‘The Weight’. A veritable stunner of a track which classifies as a Mega Ballad. The soulful productions of his first two releases have been turned down the slightest notch, to shine a deserved light on the real stars of this song – the touching lyrics, the superb melody that they’ve been wrapped up in, and the emotional delivery which we get from Mavrick. It’s a beautiful number. And we hope that it slow burns itself into a colossal hit that touches as many as possible across the globe. The song was written by Mavrick himself, along with Elias Kapari and David Hedvall.
