What’s this? Some brand-new music from Swedish artist Maia Wright. She’s back with her latest single ‘Quit Your Job’.
Quit Your Job?! The reasoning being that why would you need somewhere to go to every day when you’ve got Maia to take care of.
I like that. Yeah, it’s something a lil’ different from a pop song, and for that we should applaud.
And what’s the song like? As playful in its production as it is in its lyric – the funk is turned up to the max, the POP is capitalised, and the chorus is pleasingly catchy. Listening to this is a delight.
