What’s this? Earlier this year, Danish newcomer Maddy released her debut single ‘Island’. French producer The Avener heard it, fell in love with it, and now the two of them have released a new version of the song together.
What’s it like? A one-listen-and-you’re-in affair that segues from a downbeat piano tune about a dying buzz, into an uplifting anthem about positively not needing anyone else around you.
