What’s this? Swedish artist Lovad follows up her big streaming hit from Melodifestivalen – ‘Allting Är Precis Likadant’ – with a brand-new single. ‘Ensammast Tillsammans’.
What does that mean? Loneliest together.
What’s the song like? A dark yet rousing piano ballad. It has all the makings of a power ballad, but sounds like it’s been purposely stripped back to convey the potential power behind it having been deflated by what we learn in the lyrics. Lovad’s accompanying vocal performance is suitably weary and defeated. And so it’s a beautiful listen, all in all.
