The “proper” debut single? It’s finally arrived. The most recent winner of Swedish Idol has had her nine months post-contest in which to hone her style. And today she launches properly with the first taste of that sound – ‘Blue Eyed Girl’.
What’s it like? A BIG pop track. Precisely what you want from a 16 year old girl who is the reigning champ of Swedish Idol. It’s got a frantic production, a catchy chorus, and an uplifting post-chorus. Best bit is the middle eight though. “you don’t know SHIT“.
