Linda Bengtzing is BACK! And just how we all want her too – with a bit of schlager. She’s gone and done a schlager reworking of the classic Swedish folk ballad Värmlandsvisan – renaming it Värmlandsschlagern. Produced by Jimmy Jansson, the whole thing was the idea of Visit Karlstad – to promote Värmland and to get the Swedish population in the mood for Melodifestivalen, which kicks off in Karlstad itself on Feb 3rd. But that’s not to say the rest of us can’t enjoy it too! Stick with it – the tempo increases and the schlager queen delivers.
