What’s this? New music from Swedish talent Juliander. This is his latest single and video ‘Cold Shoulder’.
What’s it like? He’s increased the tempo for this one, despite the song’s lyrics landing on the heart-break side of the coin. He’s also given the track an ’80s-inspired synth dolling-up, which fits the beat and melody to perfection.
What does Juliander say? “Usually, my creative process takes some time. The fun thing about this song is that it was written recently during my first session with Pretty Young and Isak. In fact, it could be said that it came about by accident; we worked on a chorus to another song but instead worked out the verse for ‘Cold Shoulder’ ,so we scrapped the previous idea and finished the rest of it in 20 minutes. ‘Cold Shoulder’ is the best accident I’ve had.”
