A pleasant surprise of a new duet emerging from Sweden today. A surprise not just in terms of the collaboration partners (Joakim Berg, lead singer of the super-successful Swedish band of yesteryear Kent, and Maria Jane Smith of the current Swedish radio staples Smith & Thell), but also in terms of the song’s subject matter – summer! It’s a beautifully chilled-out, melodic number that will no doubt be used by many in the coming weeks as an invitation to sit back, bliss out, and long for the warmer months. This will provide the perfect soundtrack for such behaviour.
