Criminally, it’s been almost a year since her last release – the brilliant ‘Make Me Blu’. But now Swedish singer, songwriter, and producer Ji Nilsson is finally back with new single ‘Save Me for Later’. It’s another slice of lush synthpop in what’s now somewhat the inimitable style and sound of Ji herself. We love her as an artists because every new song of hers is one that you can tell is hers straight away. Speaking about the track, Ji herself says; “Save Me for Later” is about getting over an ex, or rather wanting to get over an ex. It’s that dream scenario when you feel great and happen to run into someone who crushed your heart, but you don´t care any longer. You’re beautiful and in love with someone new and completely over the old heartbreak. Then if it’s true or not, it’s another thing… Why write a whole song about how little you really care about someone really”? ‘Save Me for Later’ is written and produced by Ji Nilsson and co-produced by WoodzSTHLM (who was also behind ‘Make Me Blu’). It’s the lead single to be taken from Ji’s debut album that’s due out later this year.
