What’s this? Swedish duo Isle of You are back with the second single from their forthcoming EP. This is ‘Ears Ringing’.
What’s it like? A fucked-up, string-laden, level-distorted, rave-up anthem that gets so bizarre, it actually succeeds in transcending into euphoria. Quite remarkable.
What do they say? “To us, ‘Ears Ringing’ sounds like driving in the middle of the night through Tokyo, with Rihanna’s dance hits from 2005 on the speakers. Like a moment in time in which you can not get enough of the music. You just want to increase the volume more and more and more.”
