What’s this? Ahead of the release of his new album on March 5th, Sweden’s Isak Danielson is out with a new single and video. ‘Face My Fears’.
What’s it like? It’s the sound of Isak playing to his biggest strengths. And it’s what we all love to hear most from him, as horrible as that might sound. It’s him reaching very deep inside of him, all the way down into his personal pain, and turning it into a beautiful song – brimming with emotion – for the rest of us.
What does Isak say? “It’s a song about wanting to have as much of a life as possible and not letting the fear stop you. My personal inspiration behind the song is my own struggle with panic disorder. Everyone has their own demons, but the important thing to remember is not to let that demon define who you are. “I would face my fears and they disappear”.”
Written by? Written by Isak himself, produced by Brad Mair.
