It’s been a mere six weeks since Isac Elliot released one of the best songs of his career so far – ‘AYO‘. It’s one that we’ve been hammering a lot since then – as have others, to the tune of 1.5 million Spotify streams in that short time. But the Finnish popstar is already back with a follow-up. New single ‘Eyes Shut’ came out last week, and once again finds him putting a sonically altered spin on his up-tempo r&b pop. It’s another well crafted pop track that sees the production go off on a tangent that’s a little different to its predecessor. Keeping things fresh for the young pop gent and his legion of fans.
