Norwegian songwriting genius and singing stunner Ina Wroldsen has got herself a Christmas song out. It’s a beauty of a seasonal ballad – ‘Mary’s Story’. Simplistic in structure, irresistible in melody, and borrowing from the classic Christmas song ‘Silent Night’. And it’s already been going down very well in her native Norway – having hit number one on iTunes, and clocking up just short of a quarter of a million streams on Spotify. The song was written by Ina herself, along with Steve Mac. And produced by Martin Sjølie. Check it out below, along with a recent live performance from P3 Radio in Norway.
You can find ‘Mary’s Story’ on our A Scandipop Christmas playlist.
