Where do I know that name from? If you’re a big ol’ gay then chances are you know Sweden’s Hector Lopez from the sublime ‘Love’, which was the official Europride song of 2014. Today he returns with brand new single ‘Oh La La’.
What’s it like? A stupendously catchy Eurodance anthem that believes in its chorus melody so much – it repeats it as an instrumental breakdown after each chorus. Summer frivolities, dripping with cheese, and with a stonking great key change shoehorned in. We are SO on board with this.
Best bit? “Hola, venga, come to a fiesta tonight with me, oh la la, venga, come and oh la la with me”. ANYTHING you say, Hector!
