What’s this? Later this month they’ll be representing their native Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest. But before then, they’re dropping a brand-new single. Fyr Og Flamme – ‘Kæreste’.
What does that mean? Significant other. My dearest. Girlfriend. Boyfriend.
What’s it like? It’s synthwave meets schlager. It gives a fair few nods to ABBA. It’s delivered with something of a tongue in its cheek. It’s kinda brilliant if you tilt your head in a certain way!
Written by? One half of the duo – Laurits Emanuel.
How are they gonna do at Eurovision? Well their song ‘Øve Os På Hinanden’ is literally in the top-ten best songs of this year’s contest, so we’re hoping for a justified and deserved Top 10 finish for the boys. But incredibly, there are some people who disagree. So who knows?
