Swedish pop group Estraden have just recorded and released their own version of Sarek’s seminal schlager-folk anthem ‘Genom Eld & Vatten’. The original, which placed 6th at Melodifestivalen 2003 behind Fame, Pernilla Wahlgren & Jan Johansen, Alcazar, Jill Johnson and Sanna Nielsen, is a raved-up Swedish classic for the ages. Estraden have delivered a slowed-down version of the tune, allowing its timeless melody to take centre stage, resulting in a stunner of a listen.
