Describing themselves as a “garage synthpop band” and hailing from Aarhus in Denmark, the duo EmmaDop (neither of whom are actually called Emma, or indeed Dop) have just released this thoroughly charming tune, ‘Stupid’. Reminiscent of the poppiest indie-pop of the mid-’90s, it ticks many of our boxes – most importantly, that glorious melody they’ve composed into the chorus. It comes from their debut album ‘Superstar‘, which was also released over the weekend.
