An Icelandic song? Yes! Though technically no. It’s an Icelandic cover of a Swedish song. But not just any song. ‘Den Vilda’, by One More Time. AKA Sweden’s massively successful entry to the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest.
Why has someone decided to cover that in 2015? They haven’t. This is from 2010. But we only discovered it recently and wanted to share it with you. So there you go.
Ok. It’s a gorgeous track – an absolute Nordic classic. And we’ve unexpectedly fallen in love with a second Nordic take on it 20 years later.
