What’s this? Following on from her previous three singles, all of which have gone to number 1 on the radio airplay chart in her native Denmark, Drew Sycamore is back with a brand-new single and video. Here’s ‘Jungle’.
What’s it like? Dreamy ’80s electropop that’s blissed-out and basking luxuriously under the glow of a million neon lights. You know the sort.
What does Drew say? “’Jungle’ is made under a violet sky where I found myself in a particularly melancholy nostalgic mood. I was in love and not in love at the same time and everything felt so overwhelming. Life has a funny way of sorting itself out and I guess the emotion that came out in ‘Jungle’ was this feeling of a backwards fall of a cliff into the deep sea. I had to just float and surrender to things unfolding by themselves.”
