What’s this? Swedish duo DIMA delivered one of the best songs of the year so far with the brill ‘Boots‘. And now they’re back with another release. New single ‘Cruel’, featuring Teddy Sky.
What’s it like? Quite different to ‘Boots’, actually! But that’s no bad thing, in this case. For ‘Cruel’, they’ve dropped the light synthpop, ramped up the tempo a notch or twelve, and delivered a banging, uplifting, hugely melodic dance track. One which we’re already huge fans of.
What do DIMA say? Echoing the notion of the genre-switch, they chime in with “We don’t care what genre the song has, we just enjoy good songs no matter what kind of clothes they have. If you’re enjoying it then you’re enjoying it. It’s simple”
