What’s this? He provided a superb contribution to this year’s Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix with his contemporary hit ‘Psycho’, and now Daniel Owen is back with a new multi-layered pop tune to unwrap – his latest single ‘Lowkey’.
It is lowkey? It is lowkey in title only.
What’s it like? It’s an electronic track that simultaneously manges to sound like the very best of turn-of-the-century smash-hit r&b and – well, we don’t quite know how else to put this – the future of pop?! Either way, you do get the sense while listening to it, that you’re experiencing something quite exciting, creatively speaking.
Written by? Daniel himself, along with Patrick Brizard. Produced by Andreas Bache-Wiig.
More from Daniel? A few months back he released an excellent cover of Benjamin Ingrosso’s ‘Dance You Off’.
