That’s a familiar face…. Some will recognise her hugely pretty mug from her time as one of the new members of Ace of Base, during their ‘The Golden Ratio’ album in 2010.
And now she’s doing her own thing? Launching as Clara Mae, ‘Avalon’ is her debut single. And it reached number 2 on Swedish iTunes a couple of weeks back.
What’s ‘Avalon’ like? A mid-tempo and beat driven synth ballad with a gorgeous chorus. Sonically it’s not unlike Frida Amundsen’s brilliant ‘What If’ from last year.
